Cycling or hiking in the area is more than worth it. National park Hohe Mark offers a big forest, alternating with heath and peatland. Along the way you will see castles, farms and colourful gardens. You will be surprised of the beautiful sunset in the heathland. In addition there is a big chance of spotting game such as deers or hares. Multiple hiking and cycling routes are available at the reception of the campsite. The unique Flamingo cycling route passes along the most northern flamingo colony of Europe.

Camping in the middle of the nature, a forest surrounding at a lake. It’s possible at camping Borken am See. Enjoy the peace, lots of (play) space and the outdoor living. That’s called a holiday!
