• Movie park Germany in Bottrop (approx.39 km). Tip! Take the train from Borken railway station
• At Ponyhof Leiting in Isselburg (approx.28 km) you will find a fantastic children’s farm with a big playground. Children can ride a pony at the small or large track, take a ride on the train through the cornfield, rent a family tandem or enjoy a coffee with homemade cake at the terrace.
• Ketteler Hof in Haltern am See (approx.35 km) is a great playground for children, both indoor as outdoor. With barbecue and pick nick possibilities.
• Amusement park Wunderland Kalkar (approx.43 km). Nice family park with over 40 attractions. Specially suitable for children up to the age of 12 years.
• Sealife in Oberhausen (approx.49 km) 20000 sea animals on a surface of 3300 m² and 2 million litres of water.. from mussel till shark.
• Legoland indoor discovery in Oberhausen (approx.49 km)

• Coesfeld (approx. 29 km) with a glass museum, Walkenbrückentor (ruins of the old city walls) and a golf course. Around the village you can make a nice hike or cycling tour. Along the way you will see castles and towers.
• What’s the name of the mayor… Wesel (approx.30 km), a nice historic city.
• Emmerich am Rhein (approx.44 km) with a big wellness centre and tropical swimming pool  and there is a golf course.
• Münster (approx. 65 km) with her beautiful gothic city hall, medieval church, every Wednesday and Saturday market at the square, Picasso museum and it’s a popular city for cycling.
• Arnhem (approx. 69 km) with Burgers zoo and outdoor museum
• Düsseldorf (approx. 85 km) capitol of Noordrijn-Westfalen with the cosy Alstadt with a variety of terraces, restaurants and historical buildings. And modern architecture in Medienhafen. You can shop in the Königsallee. You a have spectacular view over the city from the Rheinturm.
